Unique Exhibition ‘Heaven/Hell’ Opened in Lviv

A unique exhibition ‘Heaven/Hell’ has opened at the Zag Gallery in Lviv.

The head of Lviv region, Maksym Kozytskyi, stated that the exhibition features works by artists such as Marcantonio Raimondi, Albrecht Dürer, Ilya Repin, as well as a 17th-century Dutch still life, medieval graphics, 16th-century Ukrainian iconography, and contemporary Ukrainian art. All these works are united by the theme of heaven and hell.

The exhibition will last for three months at the address: Lviv, 7 Shota Rustaveli Street.

“The Creator has given us freedom. We can be ourselves or lose ourselves. Perhaps hell is not having the courage to be ourselves, living someone else’s life, fearing choice? And heaven—responsibility for the freedom we have? Let’s create heaven where we are. Let’s create not only for ourselves but for those around us. Thank you to the Defenders who in hell fight for heaven for our state,” emphasized Maksym Kozytskyi.
