Exhibition ‘The Little Prince’ in Rome: Ukrainian Art

The exhibition ‘The Little Prince’ in Rome attracted around a thousand visitors in three days.

‘I am proud that the exhibition, which originated in Lviv at Zenyk Art Gallery, will live for two months in the 19th-century museum halls in the center of Rome – at the Museo delle Civiltà’, said curator Khrystyna Berehovska.

The exhibition features 31 works by 23 contemporary Ukrainian artists. It is a dedication to Ukrainian children – in the sky, on earth, in occupation, on the road, in emigration, at home. The project was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture of Italy, and the sincere willingness to cooperate from both sides.

‘For me, this exhibition is about the courage to be, to speak, to present oneself not through pity, but through dignity’, added Berehovska. The exhibition will run until September 21 at the Museo delle Civiltà.
