A postage stamp dedicated to the activities of the Lviv Palace of Arts during the war was canceled in Lviv

On January 27, a postage stamp was redeemed as a sign of gratitude to the Palace for its active position and assistance to Ukrainians in the fight against Russian aggression.

From the first days of the full-scale war, the Regional Humanitarian Headquarters has been operating in the Lviv Palace of Arts until now. In its premises, volunteers collect food, medicines, and warm clothes for the military, displaced persons and residents of settlements affected by the war. To thank them for their work, a postage stamp was issued in their honor in Lviv.

Ivan Sobko, the deputy head of the Lviv OVA, Yevhen Savchuk, the director of the Lviv directorate of Ukrposhta JSC, Yuriy Vizniak, the director of the Lviv Palace of Arts cultural and artistic center, the author of the idea, public figure Yuriy Kotyk, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania took part in the repayment of the stamp. in the city of Ternopil, Yaroslav Viznyak, as well as the head of the migration service of the Lviv Oblast Yuriy Tatomyr and the deputy chairman of the Lviv Regional Council Yuriy Kholod.

The stamp has a unique appearance: Saint Luke (patron of culture and arts) is depicted on the left, and the art of inspiring, helping and winning is depicted on the right.

“Ukrainians are a nation that has entered history not for the first time. In this war, when older people give their last, and children join the support of the Armed Forces, we believe only in our victory, together we go forward, win and rebuild everything that the Russians destroyed.

A large professional team works in the Lviv region, including the Lviv Palace of Arts as a cultural center and humanitarian headquarters. We thank the director of the palace, Yuriy Vizniak, for his dedication to work and competent leadership,” Ivan Sobko emphasized.

The circulation of stamps is limited. Only 100 copies. Funds from their sale will be transferred to the support of the Armed Forces.
