On September 16, the Week of Ukrainian Culture began in Pyeongtaek (Republic of Korea).
Residents and guests of the city have the opportunity to learn more about the culture and traditions of Ukraine.
As part of this event, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea presented for the first time in the country an international marathon of traveling exhibitions “Formula of peace in the art of children of Ukraine”, presented by children’s works from the collection of the charity fund “Lviv Children’s Gallery”.
According to Ms. Oksana Ponomarenko, the wife of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea, the works of children from Ukraine became the decoration of the week of Ukrainian culture. The exhibition of children’s art from the collection of the Lviv Children’s Gallery is requested to continue after the end of the culture week.
“In their works, our children talk about their dreams and desire to live under a peaceful and calm sky in European Ukraine. Their sincere art is addressed to the world so that as many countries as possible help Ukraine in its fight against Russian terrorism. The participants of the “Golden Easel” International Forum are amazingly talented and wonderful children, both from the resettled and from the occupied regions of different parts of Ukraine – they are truly happy now, because they felt they were worthy ambassadors of peace in the world. We thank all the children, their leaders and parents for a worthy position in the informational struggle for the Victory of Ukraine,” said Olga Mykhailiuk-Soronovych, head of the Lviv Children’s Gallery BF, founder of the Golden Easel International Forum.
It should be noted that the International Forum “Golden Easel” invites Ukrainian children to participate in the international marathon of mobile exhibitions “The Formula of Peace in Children’s Art”. Registration begins on October 1, 2023 on the website https://artclass.lviv.ua/uk/
