On December 6, in addition to the holiday of Nicholas, Ukrainians will celebrate the day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During a full-scale war in the country, this holiday is symbolic and special, because it honors defenders who stood and continue to stand as a powerful wall in the defense of Ukraine.
While our defenders protect the country at the front lines, our task is to provide them with a reliable rear, take care of the families of the fallen Heroes and honor their memory.
Attention was again focused on this during the regular meeting of the organizing committee, which took place today in the Drohobytsk City Council, chaired by the deputy for humanitarian and social relations Yuriy Kushlyk.
Therefore, on December 6, the day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a joint prayer will be held at the city cemeteries of Drohobych and candles will be lit on the graves of fallen Heroes.
The memorial service will be held tomorrow, December 6, at 2:30 p.m. at two cemeteries where the defenders of Ukraine have found their eternal rest – on Alley Slavy (22 Sichnia Street) and the cemetery on Pylypa Orlyk Street.
