
Lviv Hosts the International Meeting ‘Ukraine–EU’
Today, Lviv has transformed into the European diplomatic capital. The city has welcomed 35 delegations from European Union countries and other states.
International Meeting at the City Hall
An international meeting ‘Ukraine–EU’ took place at the City Hall with the participation of foreign ministers from all European countries. Discussions were focused on new sanctions against Russia, defense support, and Ukraine’s path to the European Union.
Ceremony at Rynok Square
At Rynok Square, the EU flag was ceremoniously raised. It was raised by children of war — Yana Stepanenko, who lost her legs due to a missile strike, and Markiyan Mazur, a winner of international olympiads.
The national anthems of Ukraine and the European Union were performed by the military. It was more powerful than any words.
This event underscores Lviv’s strategic role as a platform for key international decisions and symbolic gestures of support for Ukraine.
