The Lviv region has officially commenced strategic cooperation with the German state of Baden-Württemberg.
In Stuttgart, they signed a Letter of Intent, opening new perspectives for the region in three key directions. The IT sector of Lviv will have the opportunity to enter into new partnerships in Germany, implement joint pilot projects, and develop AI solutions. Medical cooperation will encompass hospitals, medical companies, and scientific institutions; the University Hospital of LNMU named after Danylo Halytsky is already adopting successful practices from the Freiburg clinic. Defense cooperation could evolve into joint production projects and the creation of innovative security solutions.
“Representing our region were my deputies – Khrystyna Zamula and Oleksandr Kulepin, the head of the International Cooperation Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration – Iryna Butynets, and the director of the University Hospital of LNMU named after Danylo Halytsky, Nataliya Litvinska. From the German side, the main signatory was the Minister of Economy, Labor, and Tourism of the state of Baden-Württemberg, Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut,” added Maksym Kozytsky.
