
A delegation led by the international affairs advisor to the Lieutenant Governor of California, Evan Reed, arrived in the Lviv region.
During the meeting, cooperation opportunities in various fields were discussed. Energy is one of the key sectors where Lviv region has great potential in solar, wind, and mini-hydropower. “For California, a global leader in ‘green’ technologies, this is an opportunity to scale experience in a region seeking new solutions in the energy sector,” – noted the delegation representatives.
In the field of rehabilitation, Lviv region offers its facilities such as the Superhumans Center and other institutions that help restore the health of those affected by the war. The industrial parks of Lviv region, totaling 18, are ready to host American manufacturing and innovative projects.
In 2024, the California Senate and Assembly officially supported the establishment of sister city relations with the Lviv region. The next step will be an agreement between the Office of the Governor of California and the Lviv Regional State Administration, which will open access to investment programs and partnerships.
