The Lviv city territorial community has begun cooperation with the Busk community.
During the last session of the Lviv City Council, consent was given to organize cooperation with Busk, located in the Zolochiv district. The collaboration will cover areas of environmental protection, sports, tourism, and household waste management. This involves coordination of activities, implementation of joint projects, and financing of municipal enterprises.
The office of agglomeration and community development of the Lviv City Council states that this resolution is the first step towards official consolidation of efforts. “Next, agreements with clearly defined tasks and responsibilities for each of the two communities will be developed,” – the office reports. Subsequently, a commission will be created to prepare a draft agreement on the cooperation of territorial communities.
This is not the first example of cooperation within the agglomeration. The first community with which an official agreement was signed was Bibrka. As a result of such cooperation, children with special educational needs from the Bibrka municipal territorial community receive services at the Municipal Institution “Inclusive Resource Center of the Lychakiv District of Lviv,” and educators improve their qualifications.
