On November 12, a joint meeting of the commissions of the Lviv Regional Council took place, where changes to the regulation of the Stepan Bandera Award were discussed.
At the meeting, the members of the regional award jury discussed proposals to update the regulation regarding its awarding. The deputies considered two alternative draft documents. They made the decision to base it on the version prepared by Vasyl Kosiv, the rector of the Lviv National Academy of Arts. Further refinement of the changes will be carried out in the relevant commissions.
“They unanimously voted to take the regulation as a basis and to work it out in the commissions. The regulation will be reviewed in detail in the commissions on education, science and innovation, and on culture, information policy and promotion separately. Subsequently, a joint meeting will be held to address all issues, after which the document will be submitted for session consideration”, said deputy Tetyana Pysmenna.
