The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, has responded to the incident that took place the previous night in Lviv involving servicemen. He stressed that the use of force against military personnel performing their duties under martial law is unacceptable.
“No one has the right to use force against servicemen who are performing their duties under martial law. Attacks, aggression and vigilantism are incompatible with a state governed by the rule of law. But it is equally clear that mobilisation cannot lose its human face. It must take place lawfully, fairly and with respect for the dignity of the citizens of Ukraine. Everyone must draw conclusions” — Maksym Kozytskyi
The head of the region also stated that he expects law enforcement agencies to promptly and impartially clarify all the circumstances of the night-time incident in Lviv and to provide an appropriate legal assessment of the actions of everyone who broke the law.
