President of the Czech Republic visited Lviv region on a working visit

The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, arrived in the Lviv region on a working visit.

We had an important conversation. The President inquired about the consequences of the attack that Lviv experienced today and emphasized that the Czech Republic remains our unwavering strategic partner and ally.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Czech Republic has provided military aid to Ukraine worth nearly 837 million dollars. In particular, it purchased over 3.7 million high-caliber artillery shells, of which 1.3 million are planned for 2025 alone.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Natalia Kalmykova and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko.

The delegation led by the President has several important events ahead in our region. I will inform about everything possible within the bounds of security considerations.
