For the Day of the Restoration of Ukraine’s Independence, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honoured six representatives of Lviv region with state awards for their significant contribution to the development of local communities, sport, education and the economy.
The Order of “Merit” II class was awarded to Ihor Hrynkiv, Zolochiv Mayor. The Order of “Merit” III class was awarded to Andriyan Hutnyk, First Vice President of the Swimming Federation of Ukraine.
The honorary title “Honoured Worker of Physical Culture and Sport of Ukraine” was conferred on the Director of the Olympic Training Centre Ulyana Shtanhret, as well as on PE teacher at Rykhtychi Lyceum in Drohobych district Andryi Shevchuck.
The honorary title “Honoured Worker of Education of Ukraine” was awarded to the Director of the Medenychi Agrarian and Technological Vocational College Vasyl Luzhetskyy. The title “Honoured Economist of Ukraine” was conferred on the Chief Accountant of Lviv Polytechnic Vasyl Lemishovskyi.
The address to the awardees emphasises that their professional and civic contribution is highly valued at the national level, and that Lviv region is proud of its honoured compatriots.
