The Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Spain has started its work in Lviv.
The opening of this diplomatic institution signifies the trust, support, and solidarity of Spain with Ukraine during the most challenging time for our country. We deeply appreciate this, as well as all the assistance the Spanish government and people provide to our state: from humanitarian initiatives to significant security and defense support.
The consulate is headed by Anatoliy Zabarylo. The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Ukraine, Ricardo Lopez-Aranda Jagu, participated in the opening. From now on, we will be able to develop economic and cultural ties between Lviv region and Spain faster, launch educational programs, and other joint initiatives.
The Honorary Consulate will also become an important point of support for Spanish citizens in Ukraine and Ukrainians who support or plan close contacts with Spain. I wish the honorary consul fruitful work. We are by your side. We are ready for cooperation. Together, we will do more for our people!
