Vasyl Trunkvalter has taken the helm of Lviv’s Second Medical Association.
On December 23, 2025, Vasyl Trunkvalter was officially introduced to the staff as the new head. Prior to this, he served as the director of St. Luke’s Hospital of Lviv’s First Medical Association. Andriy Myskyv, the previous head, handed over the position to him.
“First of all, I would like to sincerely thank Andriy Myskyv for his years of consistent, responsible, and very challenging work as head of Lviv’s Second Medical Association,” stated Iryna Kulynych, Deputy Mayor for Humanitarian Affairs.
According to Iryna Kulynych, during the COVID-19 pandemic and the war, Vasyl Trunkvalter demonstrated exemplary responsible management. He managed to improve the quality of medical services and ensure appropriate conditions for patients and staff.
“May these management changes bring even better results in delivering quality, accessible, and humane medical care to our residents,” added Iryna Kulynych.
