The Czech humanitarian organization People in Need Ukraine is launching a support program for entrepreneurs thanks to funding from the American people.
The project involves providing grant funds on a competitive basis. The grant amounts are up to $1,000 for micro and small businesses with an average number of employees not exceeding 1 person, and up to $5,000 for businesses with 2 to 50 employees. “The size of the grant will depend on the proposal and the budget submitted,” organizers say.
Mentoring support for business development, psychological support for grant recipients and their families, and community meetings to enhance social integration are also provided.
The deadline for application submissions is June 30, 2025. Priority will be given to relocated businesses, women-led enterprises, and those with a social orientation.
The project does not support businesses in agriculture, defense industry, or those involved in the production or trade of alcohol and tobacco.
