Щодня збільшується заборгованість з заробітної плати, росте соціальна напруга в шахтарських колективах.

Lvivvuhillya representatives met with Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Oleksandr Hale

On April 25, Lvivvuhillya found itself in a difficult situation due to the loss of regular consumers of coal produced by miners from Lviv region. Wage arrears are increasing every day, and social tension in the miners’ collectives is growing.

On April 24, Dmytro Yarotskyi, head of the Miner’s Office NGO, and representatives of Lvivvuhillya’s workforce met with Oleksandr Hale, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine, in Kyiv.

They discussed the repayment of wage arrears and sick leave, as well as providing the state-owned enterprise with sustainable ways to sell its coal products. Lvivvuhillya representatives suggested limiting imports of coal products, establishing coal exports, and eliminating issues related to VAT and unified social security taxes.

The Deputy Minister expressed support for the coal miners, assured that all measures are being taken to preserve the coal industry in Ukraine, and promised that tomorrow, during a meeting with potential coal consumers, the issue of selling the “black gold” produced by Lvivvuhillya mines will be resolved,” the Shakhtar’s office reported.
