Lviv Croissants has announced the opening of its first partner restaurant in the United States.
The bakery operates in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, and has already received its first guests.
Lviv Croissants founder Andriy Halytsky told the Forbes Entrepreneurs Forum that the company had been preparing for two years to enter the U.S. market. In Europe, however, such preparations take up to five months.
The co-owner and CEO of the American restaurant is a local entrepreneur, Brett Larrabee, whom Halytsky met at a franchise exhibition in New York in 2018. Larrabee has been working in restaurant franchising for 37 years, in particular, he has developed the American brands Five Guys, Famous Daves BBQ, Little Caesars, Subway, and Pancheros, Forbes writes. Together, the partners have invested $220 thousand in the Lviv Croissants bakery and local production of frozen croissants.
