Energy workers continue to restore power supply after bad weather
Over the weekend, winter weather raged in Lviv Oblast – gusts of wind, wet snow sticking to power grids and trees, tree branches falling on wires from outside the security zones.
In most districts of the region, Lvivoblenergo workers restored electricity supply, about half a thousand energy workers worked, but bad weather led to new blackouts.
As of 8:00 a.m. today, 51 settlements are completely without electricity and 83 are partially without electricity in various districts of the region:
🔸Western REM (Zhovkivska, Yavorivska parts);
🔸 Southern REM (Borislavska district);
🔸 Northern Rem (Chervonohradsko-Sokalska, Kamianka-Buzka district);
🔸 Carpathian REM (Starosambriska district);
🔸 LMEM (Zhovkivska district).
43 brigades of “Lvivoblenergo” are working on the restoration of electricity supply, consisting of 184 employees, 64 units of equipment were involved.
⚠️ Important: do not get closer to the place of the broken wire of the power transmission line at a distance of less than eight meters, because you can get a fatal electric shock ⚡️
You need to leave the dangerous zone with a “goose step” – bring your feet together, do not separate them from each other and from the ground, and move with small sliding steps.
Organize the protection of the place of the broken wire so that no one gets there until the arrival of the Lvivoblenergo emergency brigade.
If you see damaged power lines, immediately report the situation by calling 0-800-30-15-68 (24/7, free of charge) or other call center numbers: 067-333-15-68, 050-460-15-68 , 093-170-15-68, (032) 290-75-68.
