New Carlsberg Line Opened in Lviv Region for UAH 610 Million

A new production line for Carlsberg Ukraine has been opened in the Lviv region, made possible by an investment of UAH 610 million. This project, which took a year and a half to complete, will increase production capacity by 38% and enhance the energy efficiency and environmental friendliness of the production process.

The presentation, held at the ‘Lvivarnya’, was attended by representatives of the Ukrainian parliament, regional and city authorities, business, and media. Carlsberg Group CEO Jacob Aarup-Andersen emphasised that the company continues to support Ukraine by investing in its development. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Carlsberg Group has invested UAH 4.4 billion in Ukraine and plans to maintain investment levels at 1–1.5 billion UAH annually.

Acting head of the Lviv Regional Council, Yuriy Kholod, noted that this event is significant for the region and the entire country, as it demonstrates trust in Ukraine and its economy. He also thanked the Ukrainian military for the opportunity to work and develop the economy even in wartime conditions.

In addition to the economic impact, Carlsberg Ukraine is implementing social initiatives, including supporting the UNBROKEN rehabilitation centre by assisting with prosthetics and medical equipment for military personnel and their families. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Ukraine, Thomas Lund-Sorensen, highlighted Ukraine’s potential for international investors.
