The training center of the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant has been equipped with a new 6 kV switchgear simulator, built using actual equipment models utilized at the plant.
This mock-up closely replicates real operating conditions, allowing technical staff to gain hands-on experience in maintenance and repair of electrical systems in a realistic environment.
Energy personnel will use the simulator to practice:
- equipment inspection,
- mechanism functionality checks,
- safety and grounding system assessments,
- testing of electrical circuits.
The new system is designed to improve workforce training and ensure safe operation of energy infrastructure. Such advancements contribute significantly to the modernization of the training process at Ukrainian nuclear facilities.
