The enterprise Kettenwerk in Mykolaiv, Lviv Oblast, has started production of easy-to-assemble metal bridges. The first order came from Austria.
According to the head of the company Yuriy Yatsynych, the company hopes to use foreign partners to make such bridges for regions of Ukraine where the infrastructure has been destroyed due to hostilities, Suspilne writes.
This week, the company will take part in the exhibition forum “Infrastructure Restoration. The roads Bridges”, which will take place in Kyiv.
In addition, Kettenwerk manufactures trench stoves from freon cylinders. So far, 120 such stoves have been sent to the front.
Kettenwerk, a foreign-invested company, has been operating in Mykolaiv, Lviv region since 2017. Before the full-scale war, chains were produced here – mainly for export. The company’s income from exports in different years was from 9 to 25 million hryvnias per year. In 2022, the company changed its profile. Among the company’s founders is a Czech factory for the manufacture of chains.
