On 15 December, a new route connecting the capital of Poland with Ukrainian cities was launched. This route makes travelling between the two countries even more convenient.
Details of the route
At 05:26, a train of the Polish railway PKP Intercity departs from Warsaw Zachodnia station and arrives at Rava-Ruska station at 13:45 on schedule. Upon arrival, passengers can transfer to a modern Ukrainian-made diesel train DPKr-3, which provides connections to Lviv and Chernivtsi.
Main stops on the Ukrainian section of the route:
- Lviv,
- Ternopil,
- Chortkiv,
- Zalischyky.
This allows passengers to comfortably reach both large cities and popular tourist destinations.
Increased number of seats
To improve the connection, the new timetable includes an additional pair of trains No. 765/766 – 865/866 on the route Warsaw – Rava-Ruska – Lviv – Chernivtsi. This significantly increases the number of available seats for passengers, and the comfortable PKP Intercity trains on the Polish section of the route add to the comfort of travelling.
The new route is another step towards strengthening ties between Ukraine and Poland, which meets the modern needs of travellers, said Ukrazaliznytsia.
