Starting from March 1, 2025, residents of Sheptytsk will receive updated utility bills from the municipal utility company “Vodokanal” of the Sheptytsk City Council. A new fixed monthly service fee will be added for water-related services:
- UAH 13.64 for centralized water supply
- UAH 10.12 for centralized drainage
This fee is mandatory every month, regardless of the number of residents or the amount of water consumed. It remains applicable even during periods when the services are not used. Importantly, this service fee is eligible for subsidies under current regulations.
The funds collected from this fee will cover:
- printing and delivering bills
- maintaining personal accounts and calculating charges
- banking services related to payment processing
- full customer support, including:
- consumption tracking
- account re-registration
- registration of water meters at consumer premises
- processing meter readings
- issuing certificates and maintaining accounting software
It is important to note that this fee does not include the cost of checking, repairing, or servicing individual water meters.
The introduction of the service fee complies with Ukrainian legislation and resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers that regulate the provision of utility services to the population.
