Following a public prosecution by the Drohobych District Prosecutor’s Office, a 32-year-old man was found guilty of premeditated murder (Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
He was sentenced to 13 years in prison.

That day, in the evening, the accused returned home after visiting relatives. While drunk, he remembered a long-standing hostile relationship with his neighbor and decided to “settle things”.
He approached the victim’s house and threw a stone through his window. The latter went outside, saw the defendant, and an argument started between them. During which the accused took a knife and stabbed his neighbor several times in the chest.
The latter died on the spot from his injuries.
The accused is currently in custody.
The court verdict will come into force after the expiration of the appeal period.
