The girl distributed prohibited substances by making “bookmarks”. For what she committed, she faces a penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to eight years.
The perpetrator, an 18-year-old woman from Lviv, was discovered on April 27 around 6:00 p.m. by precinct officers of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 during an inspection of the service area in the park on Yaneva Street.
She had with her 11 rolls with a substance similar to the narcotic “PVP”, some of which she had already managed to decompose.
The perpetrator was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, the court will soon choose a preventive measure for her.
During an authorized search of the detainee’s residence, law enforcement officers discovered and seized substances similar to “PVP”, packaging materials and other material evidence. Everything removed is directed to expert research.
According to the fact, the investigators of the territorial division of the police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, forwarding or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of four to eight years.
