On the morning of March 31, two traffic accidents occurred on the same street — Horodotska — in Lviv. As a result, two people were injured: a young driver and an elderly pedestrian.
According to preliminary reports from law enforcement, around 10:30 a.m., a 22-year-old man driving a Ford lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road, and crashed into a tree.
A few minutes later, an 81-year-old resident of the Lviv district, who rushed to assist the injured driver, was struck by a SsangYong vehicle. Behind the wheel was a 34-year-old woman from the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Both the Ford driver and the pedestrian suffered injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized. Investigators and patrol officers are currently working at the scene to establish the exact circumstances of the incidents. The legal classification of the events is being determined.
Police are urging drivers to strictly follow traffic rules and be especially cautious in situations with limited visibility or when stopping on the roadside.
