On the morning of September 15, a road traffic accident involving a route bus and a motorcycle occurred in one of the villages in Sheptytskyi district, Lviv region. The motorcyclist sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.
At approximately 9:00 AM, on the “Sheptytskyi – Peretoky” road, a Bogdan bus driven by a 73-year-old local resident collided with a Shineray motorcycle operated by a 23-year-old man from the same district.
As a result of the accident:

the motorcyclist was injured and hospitalized;

there were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash, so no one else was hurt.
Police investigators from Sheptytskyi district opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of traffic safety rules. The potential penalty includes:

up to three years of restricted freedom;
-
and a driving ban of up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are working to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
