Under the procedural leadership of the Galician District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Lviv, a 24-year-old local resident was notified of suspicion of selling narcotics (part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, the man from Lviv was selling a particularly dangerous drug – cannabis.
He created it by making bookmarks on the territory of the Shevchenkiv district of the city of Lviv. After that, he sent the photos with the location of the bookmarks and their GPS coordinates to his “clients” using the Telegram messenger.
At the request of the prosecutors, the court chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention with the right to post bail.
Investigative actions are ongoing, the issue of appointing a number of examinations is being resolved.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the investigators of the JI of the Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 of the GU of the NP in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
