A 28-year-old resident of Lviv robbed a woman in the entrance

The law enforcement officers remind once again that in the conditions of martial law, the maximum punishments are provided for committing theft, robbery, robbery, extortion, as well as for misappropriation, waste of property or possession of it by abuse of official position.

According to the police, on November 9, around 9:10 p.m., an intruder attacked a 51-year-old woman in the entrance of one of the houses on Kulish Street, snatched her purse, took her mobile phone, and then fled the scene.

Criminal police operatives and investigators of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 were involved in solving the crime. The victim provided the law enforcement officers with a detailed description of the assailant – the police established his whereabouts through operational and investigative measures and soon detained him in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

The detainee’s identity has been established – he turned out to be a 28-year-old resident of Lviv, who was previously criminally charged.

Investigators of the territorial division of the police, under the procedural guidance of the Galician District Prosecutor’s Office, informed him of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 4 of Article 186 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of seven to ten years.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and soon the court will choose a preventive measure for the suspect.
