Law enforcement officers established that the 30-year-old Lviv resident was looking for men of military age who intended to go abroad under martial law.

In Lviv region, an interagency group consisting of officers of the Operational and Investigative Department of the 7th Border Guard Detachment of the Carpathian Border Guard Detachment, together with officers of the Strategic Investigations Department of Lviv city and investigators of the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv region, under the procedural supervision of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, exposed and served a notice of suspicion to a person involved in the case of illegal trafficking of persons across the state border of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers established that the criminal involved in the criminal proceedings was using the Telegram channel to look for people willing to travel abroad illegally. The “combinator” estimated his services at USD 5 thousand.
The fraudster was detained in Lviv. The man engaged a courier to transfer documents and money. The Lviv resident was chosen a custody as a measure of restraint with the right to be released on bail. The full range of persons involved in the scheme is being established.
