31 Fire in Lviv Region Ecosystems in a Day

In just the last day, rescuers in Lviv Region extinguished 31 fires in ecosystems. This led to the destruction of over 1.7 hectares of land, turning it into a black wasteland. As a result, thousands of plants, insects, and animals perished, unable to escape the flames.

Such fires often occur due to the burning of dry vegetation. Even a small ignition can quickly escalate into a large-scale fire, especially in windy weather. Burning dry grass not only harms the environment but also poses a threat to human life, residential buildings, and infrastructure.

Residents are urged to protect nature and not to endanger themselves and others.

It’s not sabotage groups of Muscovites setting fires, but your neighbours, acquaintances, and relatives. Village elders know who is doing this, but they remain silent. Ukrainians – do not be indifferent! Indifference will destroy us. — Lyubomyr Khapko-Kulchytskyi
