In Novoyavorivsk, a 36-year-old woman is suspected of involvement in the illegal transfer of a person subject to mobilization across the state border of Ukraine. The Yavoriv District Prosecutor’s Office, which is handling the case, has charged her under Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The investigation established that the suspect received 1,500 US dollars from a man subject to mobilization for promising to arrange an illegal border crossing, including the preparation of necessary documents and further accompaniment. The woman assured that she would handle the removal of the man from military registration and refine his visa formalities aimed at employment in Germany.
The arrest operation was conducted by investigators of the Yavoriv District Police Department with the support of the 7th Carpathian Border Guard Detachment and the Lviv Region Migration Police Department. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and all the circumstances of the event are being clarified. According to the Constitution of Ukraine, the suspect is considered innocent until proven guilty by a court verdict.
