An offender accused of selling the psychotropic drug PVP will be tried in Lviv region
The 39-year-old resident of Sambir, who is also being prosecuted for robbery, faces imprisonment for up to ten years with confiscation of property.
The offender was exposed by criminal police operatives and investigators of the Sambir District Police Department under the supervision of the Sambir District Prosecutor’s Office. Law enforcement officers documented several facts of the defendant’s hand-to-hand sale of PVP psychotropic drugs to drug addicts in Sambir and Stryi district.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings initiated under Part 2 of Art. 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been completed. The indictment was sent to the court for consideration.
The article provides for imprisonment for a term of six to ten years with confiscation of property.
