A 46-year-old man robbed an apartment in one of the villages of Chervonohrad district

It will be recalled that martial law provides for the maximum penalty for theft, robbery, robbery, extortion and looting.

On June 11, at about 12 noon, a resident of one of the villages of Chervonohrad district reported to the police that he had reported the theft from his apartment.

Investigators and other officers of the во1 police department of the Chervonohrad District Police Department worked on the spot. According to police, an unknown person damaged the front door, broke into the applicant’s house and stole his property.

The measures taken by the district police officer and his colleagues soon established the identity of the perpetrator involved in the theft, a 46-year-old resident of the district, who had been repeatedly convicted of property crimes.

He was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Investigators of the territorial police unit, under the procedural guidance of the Chervonohrad District Prosecutor’s Office, informed the detainee about the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 185 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of five to eight years.

The court will soon choose a measure of restraint for the detainee.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
