A supporter of the “Russian peace”, who incited national enmity and humiliated the honor and dignity of Ukrainians, faces up to five years of restriction of freedom.
During the monitoring of social networks, law enforcement officers discovered a video in which an unknown woman publicly expressed anti-Ukrainian positions and justified the policy of the aggressor country against Ukraine. Shortly thereafter, the operatives of the Chervonograd district police department, together with the employees of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region, established the identity of the collaborator, a 58-year-old resident of the city of Sokal.
According to the fact, the investigators of the territorial division of the police, under the procedural leadership of the Chervonograd District Prosecutor’s Office, opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 161 (Intentional actions aimed at inciting national, regional, racial or religious enmity and hatred, at humiliating national honor and dignity) of the Criminal Code Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanctions of the article is restriction of freedom for a term of up to five years.
