According to a public indictment by the Yavoriv District Prosecutor’s Office, the head of one of the social protection departments of the Lviv City Council was found guilty of organizing the illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code).
She was sentenced to 7 years in prison. Also deprived of the right to hold positions related to the performance of organizational and administrative functions for a period of 2 years and confiscation of property.
It was established that the official organized a scheme to transport men of draft age across the state border.
For this purpose, she organized the production of fictitious certificates of the medical and social expert commission. On the basis of which, the man was given a disability group, and he could cross the border without hindrance.
The price of the service was USD 1,300 per person.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by the investigators of the Yavoriv district police department of the Main Department of the National Police in the Lviv region, according to the materials of the SBU Department in the Lviv region.
