Через Facebook продавав неіснуючі автозапчастини – викрито шахрайську схему

Under the procedural leadership of the Zhovkiv district prosecutor’s office, a 36-year-old man was notified of suspicion of fraud (Part 3, Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the suspect, while in prison, engaged in a scheme to fraudulently seize citizens’ funds.

To do this, the man created a fake account on the Facebook social network, where he posted ads for the sale of auto parts.

In the correspondence, the person involved discussed with the “clients” the details of payment and shipment of the goods, which actually did not exist.

The victims paid the cost of spare parts to the bank card of the suspect, after which he blocked them. And, accordingly, no order was received by the “buyer”.

It was established that the victims of the fraudulent scheme were residents from different regions of Ukraine. In particular, Lviv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and others.

Investigations are ongoing. Other victims are being identified.

The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the investigators of the VP No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 of the Main Department of the National Police in the Lviv Region.

Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
