The attempt to illegally import undeclared goods was stopped by border guards together with customs officials at the Sheghini checkpoint.
The 50-year-old driver of the Stryi-Peremyshl regular bus traveled to Ukraine at night. Based on the analysis and risk assessment, the border guards decided to check the bus more thoroughly. In the course of which, in the luggage compartment and on the shelves for things, the inspection team discovered undeclared goods.
In total, the resident of the city of Stry moved 119 sights, 15 air rifles, 50 electric shock flashlights, more than 200 knives of various types and almost 1,400 air rifle cartridges.
A report was drawn up on this fact. The “find” was seized by customs officers, the amount of the assessment will be determined additionally.
