A scandal is unfolding involving an official of the capital’s administration who helped evade military service.
During the pre-trial investigation, other individuals involved in the scheme are being identified. Prosecutors from the Prosecutor General’s Office along with the SBU detained the co-organizer – a lieutenant of the National Guard of Ukraine.
From September 2024 to July 2025, the group produced fake documents: forged stamps, MLM conclusions, and disease certificates. **Over 190 people used the services**.
*On January 10, 2026, the officer left Ukraine for “treatment” but returned on February 6.*
The reason for departure was claimed to be treatment in Truskavets and the Maldives, as well as in Qatar. No documents of actual treatment were found.
The National Guardsman has been notified of suspicion for organizing evasion of military duties. A preventive measure has been chosen: detention with bail set at 4,326,400 hryvnias.
