Residents of Truskavets can access free legal assistance for those affected by the war

The Truskavets Municipal Centre of Social Services, together with the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Lviv Regional State Administration, announces the launch of a project to provide free legal assistance to vulnerable groups affected by the war in Ukraine. The initiative is implemented by the Human Rights Institute of the Ukrainian Bar Association.

Within the framework of the project, free legal advice and support are provided to individuals who have suffered as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine. In particular, this concerns the following categories:

  • children;
  • families with children who find themselves in difficult life circumstances;
  • children’s legal representatives;
  • guardians and carers;
  • foster parents;
  • parents-educators;
  • other individuals in need of free legal assistance.

Representatives of the social services urge families with children and everyone belonging to the listed categories and in need of legal support to contact the relevant institutions and organisations for detailed information on the conditions of participation in the project and the procedure for receiving assistance.

For coordination and interaction on the part of the State Service of Ukraine for Children’s Affairs, a contact person has been designated — Alesia Valeriivna Avdieieva.

The Truskavets Municipal Centre of Social Services emphasises that all vulnerable groups affected by the war can take advantage of the opportunity to receive professional legal assistance within the framework of this project.
