According to the public accusation of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the court found four citizens of Ukraine guilty of collaborative activity (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
They were sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of all property. Convicts are also deprived of the right to hold positions in state bodies for a period of 15 years.
Prosecutors proved in court that from March to May 2022, four residents of the Kherson Region cooperated with the enemy.
The convicts voluntarily agreed to the proposal of representatives of the Russian Federation and took positions of various levels in one of the units of the so-called “Genetic RO GU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kherson Region”.
Occupying pseudo-positions, they recruited candidates and employees for the law enforcement agency, organized security for gatherings held by the occupation administration. And they also carried out other criminal orders and orders of the aggressor state.
Special pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings was carried out by investigators of the Main Department of the National Police in the Lviv region under the operational support of the Strategic Investigations Department in the Lviv region of the National Police of Ukraine.
