The accident happened on August 22 around 14:40 on the ‘Lviv-Sambir-Uzhhorod’ highway in the Sambir district. **Law enforcement** initially established that a Land Rover Discovery, driven by a 38-year-old woman from Kyiv, collided with a Mercedes Sprinter minibus driven by a 37-year-old resident of Sambir.
As a result of the collision, both drivers sustained injuries and were taken to medical facilities. Investigators have opened criminal proceedings regarding the incident under part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for **imprisonment** for up to three years.
