A traffic accident occurred in the Lviv district, resulting in injuries to two people.
The accident took place on October 31 at about 18:45 in the village of Konopnytsia. According to preliminary data, a Mercedes Sprinter minibus driven by a 58-year-old resident of Odessa collided with a Renault Megane car driven by a 22-year-old Lviv resident.
As a result of the accident, the car’s passengers were injured: an 11-year-old girl and a 52-year-old man, both from Lviv. They sustained bodily injuries and were taken to medical facilities.
Investigators from Police Department #3 of Lviv District Police Office #2 have opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty under this article is imprisonment for up to three years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for the same period.
Law enforcement officers continue to establish the circumstances of the incident.
