An accident occurred in the Lviv district, resulting in injuries to two minors.
The accident took place on November 13 around 19:10 in the village of Malechkovychi. According to preliminary data, a 14-year-old local resident driving an electric scooter collided with a pedestrian, a 77-year-old resident of the Lviv district.
As a result of the accident, the electric scooter driver and his passenger, a 14-year-old resident of the district, sustained bodily injuries. They were transported to a medical facility.
Investigators of the police department No. 3 of Lviv District Police Department No. 2 have initiated criminal proceedings under Article 291 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The article provides sanctions in the form of a fine, corrective labor, restriction of freedom, or imprisonment for up to five years.
Law enforcement officers are determining the circumstances of the incident.
