In the Lviv region, 11 road traffic accidents with casualties occurred in one day, resulting in one fatality.
The participants in these incidents were mainly pedestrians, as well as drivers and passengers of scooters. Police urge drivers to reduce speed before pedestrian crossings, and to stop when visibility is limited. “Pedestrians, cross the road following the rules, and remember to ensure safety,” officials emphasize.
Two-wheeled vehicle drivers should choose a safe speed, considering the road conditions and surface. Only through the joint efforts of all road users can safety be achieved.
