
Two residents of Lviv region have been notified of suspicions for failing to comply with court decisions.
According to the investigation, 28-year-old and 47-year-old residents of Lviv region were deprived of their driving licenses due to drunk driving. Despite the court’s decision, the men continued to drive. They were stopped by police officers for traffic violations, revealing facts of not complying with court decisions.
Under the procedural guidance of the Zhovkva District Prosecutor’s Office, the men were notified of suspicions for failing to comply with court decisions. The pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators from Police Division No.1 of Lviv District Department No.1 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region.
According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
