
A road traffic accident occurred in the Lviv district, resulting in two people being injured. The incident happened on 14 April at around 19:15 near the village of Horodzhiv. The driver of a Renault Kangoo, a 53-year-old local resident, lost control of the vehicle, leading to it veering into a ditch and overturning.
As a result of the accident, the driver and his passenger, a 25-year-old district resident, sustained bodily injuries and were hospitalised. Following the incident, investigators from police department No. 2 of the Lviv district police department No. 1 opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for up to three years of restricted freedom with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for the same period.
Law enforcement officers continue to establish the circumstances of the incident.
