A former deputy in the Lviv region is suspected of concealing assets worth almost 5 million UAH.
According to the Pustomyty District Prosecutor’s Office, the ex-deputy submitted false information in his 2022 declaration. He did not declare a residential house and land plot belonging to his wife. Income from entrepreneurial activities was also not disclosed, and the income of his wife, who is a sole trader, was incorrectly reported.
Investigative actions are ongoing, and the investigation is being conducted by the investigative unit of Police Department No. 1 of Lviv District Police Department No. 2. Operational support is provided by the Security Service of Ukraine’s Lviv Region Department.
According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime until proven guilty in a lawful manner.
