In the Rivne region, a 43-year-old former serviceman was detained for organising an illegal mechanism for cadets to escape from one of the military units in the area. According to the investigation, he acted with the aim of personal enrichment.
It was established that the ex-military provided detailed instructions, coordinated the actions of individuals, and prepared transport in advance for their removal. The cost of such ‘services’ was 10,000 euros.
It was documented that in one of the episodes in March 2026, he received the agreed sum of money. The next morning, he picked up a cadet from a pre-arranged location outside the battalion and transported him in his own car towards the city of Rivne.
